St. Croix County, Wisconsin, Board of Supervisors

You Decide.  What's Your Definition of a "Technical Change"?  Relating to the St. Croix County Public Protection and Judiciary Committee Second Amendment Resolution.

Thank you to all who contacted the St. Croix County Board Public Protection and Judiciary Committee.  The Second Amendment Resolution passed, but the final wording was not available to the public as some "technical changes" were made. We don't know what those are yet.  Watch the video from the beginning:    https://stcroixcountywi.iqm2.com/Citizens/SplitView.aspx?Mode=Video&MeetingID=3219&Format=Agenda&fbclid=IwAR2pL3QQhcJWAtMAScMtklPY8uGywdcPl0os-vAPpZUyWN8asrKWI39eQZU

COVID-19 Communicable Disease Ordinance FAILS!

St. Croix County Meeting Portal

What disappeared from the St. Croix County COVID Facts?

4. Will this proposed ordinance impact individual rights?

"The intention of this ordinance is not to impact individual rights. It is a safety measure to protect all of us if our voluntary efforts fail to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and loss of life.

Public Health has the duty to protect the health and wellbeing of everyone in St. Croix County using the least restrictive means necessary. In extreme circumstances, some constitutional rights may be limited as long as there is a strong enough reason to do so and so long as the measures are implemented in the least restrictive manner possible."
